With St. Patrick’s Day coming up in a couple of weeks, we’ve compiled a couple of recipes for food and drinks that will get you in the mood. Of course beer is the drink most commonly associated with St. Patrick’s Day, and Vanessa will have a dispatch on that subject up shortly, but this time we’re offering a couple of cocktail recipes devised by our own Cherie Hunt, plus a couple of recipes for delicious Irish food that make good use of our spices. Enjoy.

Irish Eyes

1oz Irish Whiskey
1oz Lillet Blanc
½oz St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
2oz Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
1 dash Scrappy’s Cardamom Bitters

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over fresh ice cubes in a rocks glass. Garnish with half an orange wheel.

Irish Legend

1oz Irish Whiskey
4oz Ginger Beer (Fentiman’s recommended)
1 dash Angostura Bitters
